Dutch Republic Flag
The flag of the Dutch Republic, known as the Prinsenvlag (Prince's Flag), was used between 1581 and 1795. It is a horizontal tricolour of orange, white, and blue. The flags origins lie in the provinces of the Low Countries rebellion against King Philip II of Spain that was led by the Prince of Orange[1].
