Aboriginal Flag
The Aboriginal Flag, now emblematic of the Aboriginal people, was officially recognized as a flag of Australia on July 14, 1995. However, it was originally designed in 1971 and was used as a protest flag to support Indigenous land rights. The black represents the Aboriginal people, the yellow represents the Sun, and the red represents the earth[1].
