Historical Assyrian Flag
The historical Assyrian flag is a horizontal tricolour of salmon, white, and red. Three white stars are depicted in the upper left corner of the flag, which represent the Church of the East, the Chaldean Catholic Church, and the Syriac Orthodox Church. The flag was used prior to World War I. The flag was used at meetings between Western powers and Assyrian politicians during WWI. It was designed by the Syriac Orthodox community of Tur Abdin[1].
