  Czechoslovakia Flag
This is both the flag of the Czech Republic and the flag of the former nation of Czechoslovakia. It features a blue triangle on the hoist side over two equal horizontal bands of white and red. The flag was designed by Jaroslav Kursa. The red and white come from the coat of arms of Bohemia. The blue wedge was added it to differentiate it from the flags of Poland and Austria. It was adopted on March 30, 1920[2].
