Belarus Coat of Arms
The emblem of Belarus or coat of arms of Belarus was adopted in 1995 when it replaced the Pahonia. The emblem is similar to one that was used by the Byelorussian SSR, which designed by Ivan Dubasov in 1950. Its center features a green outline of the nation of Belarus set against the rays of a rising sun that is partially covered by a globe. It is flanked by stalks of wheat and flowers wrapped in red and green ribbon. A five pointed red stars is located at the top[1].
