Vermont Flag (1837-1923)
This is the historical flag of Vermont that was used between October 20, 1837 and May 31, 1923. Like the flag of the United States, it consists of a field of thirteen alternating red and white horizontal stripes with a blue canton. A large single eight-pointed white star is located in the canton. Elements of the state's coat of arms are depicted within the star[1].
