India Flag (1931)
This historical Indian flag is a horizontal tricolour consisting of three equal bands of orange, white, and green. A spinning wheel designed by Pingali Venkayya is depicted in the center of the banner. Adopted by the Congress in 1931, it is known as the Swaraj Flag. It was first hoisted on April 13, 1923 during a protest that resulted in the arrest of many people. It became the flag of the nation's independence movement[1].
