The flag of the Kalmar Union features a red Scandinavian Cross, also known as a Nordic Cross on a gold or yellow field. The Kalmar Union was a historical union of the Kingdoms of Denmark, Norway (which itself included Iceland, Greenland, Faroe Islands, Shetland, and Orkney), and Sweden (which contained part of Finland) that lasted from 1397–1523[1].
