Kansas Flag
The flag of Kansas was designed in 1925, adopted in 1927 by the state legislature, and modified in 1961. It was first flown at Fort Riley by Governor Benjamin S. Paulen. It features the state's seal on a blue background, as well as the word "Kansas" written in yellow below the seal, which was added in 1961[1].
