The flag of Komi, Russia is a horizontal tricolour of three equal bands of green, blue, and white. The flag was adopted on November 27, 1991. The green represents nature, especially the the taiga. Blue is symbolic of the spacious northern sky. White represents snow, purity, simplicity, and austerity[1].
