Lares Revolutionary Flag
This historical Puerto Rican flag is from the Lares Revolution, which was a revolt against Spanish rule in Puerto Rico that occurred in Lares, Puerto Rico in 1868. It features a white cross that divides the flag into four quadrants. The upper two quadrants are blue, and the bottom two quadrants are red. A single white star is located in the upper left hand quadrants[1].
