Leicester Coat of Arms
The coat of arms of the city of Leicester, England was first granted in 1619 and derives from the arms of Robert Beaumont, the first Earl of Leicester. It features a red shield that depicts a white flower known as a cinquefoil. The shield is supported by two red lions, each wearing coronets as collars, with white cinquefoil hanging from them. A white legless wounded wyvern is depicted on top of the shield[1].
