Middlesex Coat of Arms
The coat of arms of Middlesex, England features three short notched swords, called seaxes, weapons carried by Anglo-Saxon warriors, on a red shield. A Saxon crown was added in 1910 by Colonel Otley Parry in order to distinguish the arms from those of Essex[1].
