Oakland Flag
This is the flag of Oakland, California, the county seat of Alameda County and the first city in the county to have an official flag. The flag was adopted in 1952 for the centennial celebration of the founding of the city and was the result of a contest netting a $200 prize for artist George W. Laakso of the neighboring community of San Leandro[1].
