Ontario Flag
The flag of Ontario is a Red Ensign that depicts a Union Jack in the canton and the shield from the province's coat of arms in the fly. The flag was adopted on May 21, 1965, as the adoption of the current flag of Canada in 1964 was unpopular in Ontario, and they preferred a flag that more closely resembled the previous flag of Canada (a Red Ensign) that was adopted in 1868[1].
