Iran Coat of Arms (Pahlavi Dynasty 1925-1979)
This is the historical coat of arms of the Pahlavi Dynasty, also known as the Imperial State of Iran, that were used between 1925 and 1979. The top features the imperial crown created for the Coronation of Reza Shah. A central emblem depicts several arms: a Lion and Sun, a Faravahar, a Zolfaghar, a tiger cat, and Mount Damavand. The emblem is supported by two lions brandishing swords. A blue scroll at the bottom contains the Imperial motto "Mara dad farmud va Khod Davar Ast", meaning "Justice He bids me do, as He will judge me"[1].
