Philadelphia Light Horse Troop Flag
This is the Philadelphia Light Horse Troop Flag from the American Revolution. It was the flag of the First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry, a volunteer cavalry troop which formed in 1774 to defend the colonies. Captain Abraham Markoe presented this flag to the Troop, which was carried during the battles of Trenton, Princeton, Brandywine, and Germantown[1].
