San Jacinto Flag
This flag is often associated with the Battle of San Jacinto during the Texan Revolution. Upon their departure to Texas, it was presented to Captain Sidney Sherman's Newport Volunteers by the women of Newport, Kentucky. It contains a depiction of liberty, who holds a sword from which a banner hangs that reads "liberty or death"[1].
