Tallinn Coat of Arms
The coat of arms of Tallinn features three blue lions with gold crowns on a gold shield. A silver helmet with a closed visor and red lining is depicted above the shield. A crown is located above the helmet, from which a woman in a red robe emerges. The symbol of the three lions date back to the 13th century and derive from the arms of Danish king Valdemar II who ruled over parts of Estonia[1].
