The flag of the city of Tampa, Florida was adopted on July 1, 1930 and designed by F. Grant Whitney. It combines elements from the flag of the United States (the Stars and Stripes), the flag of the United Kingdom (Union Jack), the flag of France (the French tricolour), the flag of Spain, and the flag of Italy[1].
