The flag of Vanuatu was adopted on February 13, 1980. It features the color are red, green, black, and yellow derive from the Vanua'aku Party, the party that led the country to independence. Green represents the richness of the islands, red symbolizes the blood of men and the blood of boars, and black represents the ni-Vanuatu[1].
