Wisconsin Coat of Arms
The coat of arms of Wisconsin features a gold shield divided into four quarters. The upper left section depicts a plow, which represents agriculture. The upper right section depicts a pick and shovel, which represents mining. The lower left section depicts shows an arm with a hammer, which represents manufacturing. Lastly, the lower right section depicts an anchor, which represents navigation. The United States coat of arms is depicted in the center of the shield. The shield is supported by a sailor, representing labor on the sea, and a yeoman, representing labor on the land. A cornucopia and 13 lead ingots are depicted below the shield. A badger, the state animal, is located above the shield[1].
